How to use this no spend days tracker
A no-spend day is a day you don’t buy anything extra. This free no spend days tracker lets you choose a stretch of days, tap the ones you didn’t spend, and see them add up. There’s no target to hit: any day you mark counts, and the others are just ordinary days. It runs in your browser with no accounts.
Step by step
- Decide what counts. Bills, rent, travel to work, a planned food shop and anything else essential don’t count against a day. Add your own rule if you like, for example “no takeaways or coffees out”.
- Choose your stretch: this month, 30 days from a start date, or your own dates (up to a year).
- Tap the days you didn’t spend. Tap a day again to unmark it. Days ahead open up as they arrive.
- Add a note if you like under “What I didn’t buy”: a word or two and an amount. It’s optional and just for you.
- Read “Your stretch at a glance”: how many no-spend days you’ve marked so far, your current run and your longest run.
- Export, print or clear your marks from “Your data”.
Questions
What counts as a no-spend day?
You decide. The counter suggests that bills, rent, travel to work, a planned food shop and other essentials don’t count against a day, and you can write your own rule.
Do I have to do a 30-day challenge?
No. You can count this month, 30 days from any start date, or your own dates of up to a year. There’s no target.
What does “current run” mean?
It’s the number of no-spend days in a row up to today. If today isn’t marked yet, the run carries on from yesterday, because the day isn’t over.
Where are my marks kept?
Only in this browser on this device. There are no accounts, and what you type isn’t sent to us. Use Export to make a backup file.
